We become involved early on in the process to avoid the costly pitfalls such as lease analysis and building evaluation. Meetings will be held with the Project Management Team as required in order to assure system designs that are respectful of the budgetary constraints of the client. A & D Engineering has established guidelines for developing a project which help to ensure that the process is both efficient and thorough. We begin each project by producing Schematic and Design Development submissions that will be utilized to both confirm design concepts and to assist in developing budgetary updates. During the Design Development phase, a greater attention is paid to the risk assessment and various design alternatives will be prepared. Once the Design Development submission has been approved, the Working Drawings Phase will commence and eventually be completed. The project team will remain intact and will be involved throughout the process. After the design drawings are completed and bids have been received, we will interview the successful bidders in an effort to determine whether anything has been omitted from their proposal and also to inform them of the quality of work that we as a team expect. Minutes of those meetings will be taken and we recommend that such minutes be attached to the Contract with the selected Contractors. During the construction period, we will be in attendance at the weekly executive meetings to assist in any fashion necessary to resolve problems. As the construction progresses, we will observe the work being performed and point out any inconsistencies with the installation as compared to the plans and specifications. We will issue progress punch lists periodically. After the completion of the construction, we will assure that all As-Built Drawings are furnished, all maintenance manuals are supplied, etc. Upon deliverance of all required materials and submissions and verification that all systems are functioning properly, we will sign-off the project as being complete. As we have evidenced in the past, we are always make ourselves available for emergency conferences or meetings after or before normal business hours should the need arise for such consultations. We constantly monitor, review and evaluate all projects through our Quality Control in an effort to maintain the highest quality standards of our Engineering staff. Ours is a fast-paced environment with multiple and diverse projects in house at all times.
